When life feels heavier than it used to

A calm place to slow things down, feel understood, and make sense of where you are - with care, clarity, and steadiness.

You may not know exactly what’s wrong - only that something has shifted

You may not be able to name exactly what’s wrong - only that something isn’t sitting the way it used to.

You might notice you’re more easily depleted, less patient with yourself or others, or carrying a quiet heaviness that wasn’t there before. On the outside, life may still look functional - work gets done, responsibilities are handled - but inside, things feel more stretched or effortful.

Many people who arrive here are capable and used to holding a lot. Over time, that way of coping can start to take a toll - even when nothing looks obviously “wrong.”

Often, it’s only when the strain becomes harder to ignore that you begin to notice it: where your energy goes, which patterns keep repeating, or how little space there’s been to pause and make sense of what you’re carrying.

You don’t need a clear explanation to begin.

Noticing that what you’ve been holding is weighing too much on you is enough.

What working together is like

Sessions move at a pace that gives you room to slow down and be with what’s actually coming up.

Rather than pushing toward answers or solutions, we start by paying attention to your experience as it is - what you’re feeling, what’s holding your attention, and what feels heavier than it used to.

Many people who come to work with me are capable, reflective, and used to managing a lot. They often know they’re struggling, but feel worn down or unsettled in ways they can’t fully name. Early sessions tend to help things feel clearer - not through analysis, but through noticing and understanding what’s happening inside you.

Over time, clients often begin to see:

  • where their energy is going

  • which situations or expectations feel harder to carry

  • why certain dynamics are no longer tolerable in the same way

This clarity doesn’t come from trying harder or thinking more. It comes from slowing down enough to listen.

The work is collaborative and thoughtfully paced. There’s space for honesty, depth, and reflection, without pressure to move faster than feels right. Change tends to unfold as understanding and capacity grow together, in a way that feels steady and real.

How We Can Work Together

I offer a small number of ways to work together, each grounded in depth, pacing, and care.

The focus is less on fixing symptoms quickly, and more on creating conditions for meaningful, lasting change.

  • Support for people navigating chronic stress, burnout, relational strain, health challenges, and long-standing patterns that feel increasingly heavy to carry.

Sessions move at a thoughtful pace, allowing space to understand what’s actually having an impact - and to begin relating to it differently over time.

    Available to Ontario-based clients.

  • Mindfulness-based offerings, including the 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, support nervous system regulation, clarity, and steadiness during periods of stress or transition.

Group offerings vary seasonally and are designed to complement individual or couples work, rather than replace it.

This work is best suited to people who want to engage reflectively and at a steady pace.
