Frequently Asked Questions
-
Therapy can be helpful when you’re feeling emotionally overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious, stuck in recurring patterns, disconnected from yourself or others, or carrying more than feels sustainable over time.
Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside while internally feeling exhausted, emotionally burdened, or stretched too thin. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Our consultation call gives us a chance to discuss what is bringing you in and whether my approach feels like the right fit for your needs.
-
Yes. I offer both virtual and in-person psychotherapy. Virtual sessions are available across Ontario, and in-person sessions are available in downtown Toronto.

I support women experiencing burnout, emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, anxiety, chronic stress, relationship challenges, difficult family dynamics, identity strain, life transitions, grief, and the pressure of carrying a great deal emotionally for long periods of time.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, emotionally aware women who are used to managing a lot for others while struggling to make space for themselves.
-
Many of the women I work with are highly capable professionally and personally while privately feeling emotionally depleted, overwhelmed, disconnected, resentful, anxious, or under constant pressure.
Therapy can provide space to better understand these patterns, reconnect with yourself more fully, and create meaningful changes in how you relate to yourself, others, and your responsibilities.
-
Yes. Burnout, emotional exhaustion, overwhelm, and chronic stress are common reasons clients reach out for therapy.
Together, we explore both the immediate impact these experiences are having on your day-to-day life as well as the deeper emotional, relational, behavioural, and nervous system patterns that may be contributing to them over time.
-
My approach is warm, relational, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I integrate psychotherapy approaches that are trauma-informed, attachment-informed, mindfulness-informed, somatic, relational, and emotionally focused.
I value honesty, curiosity, emotional depth, and creating a space where clients can speak openly without fear of judgement. Therapy with me tends to involve both practical insight and deeper reflective exploration over time.
-
My approach is best suited to women who appear to be holding it together while carrying too much underneath.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware, and highly responsible women who are experiencing burnout, emotional exhaustion, unhealthy family dynamics, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or a growing sense that something in their life no longer feels aligned.
They may struggle with people-pleasing, over-responsibility, difficulty setting boundaries, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from themselves after years of focusing on the needs of others.
My approach is particularly helpful for women who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply, exploring long-standing patterns, and creating meaningful, lasting change in how they relate to themselves and others.
-
Some clients attend therapy for support around a more immediate issue or life transition, while most clients are looking for deeper longer-term psychotherapy focused on lasting change, emotional processing, self-understanding, and longstanding patterns.
Sessions are typically weekly or bi-weekly in order to support consistency, therapeutic momentum, and the development of a strong foundation for the work we are doing together.em description

Clients often experience me as warm, grounded, thoughtful, collaborative, and direct.
In our initial sessions, we review informed consent, discuss your goals and current concerns, and begin building an understanding of the emotional, relational, behavioural, and life patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing.
Therapy is tailored to your needs and continues to evolve over time as we deepen the work together.
-
We begin with a free 15-minute consultation call. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what you’re looking for support with, why you’re seeking therapy at this time, and whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs.
You’re also welcome to ask any questions you may have about therapy, my approach, or the process of getting started.
-
My approach combines depth-oriented psychotherapy with warmth, emotional attunement, mindfulness-informed awareness, and practical insight.
Many of my clients are looking for more than short-term coping strategies alone. They are often seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotional patterns, their relationships, and the ways they have learned to carry stress, responsibility, and emotional burden over time.
I also bring over 20+ years of prior corporate and leadership experience into my understanding of burnout, pressure, emotional labour, and the complexity of balancing personal and professional demands.
-
Individual psychotherapy sessions are $195 for 50 minutes.
Couples therapy sessions are $350 for 75 minutes.
